SC SKIERS AND RIDERS KNOW THE CODE!

In order to make Snow City a positive experience for everyone alike, we hope all skiers and snowboarders who use the slope seek to be familiar with the rules set out to ensure proper etiquette. Etiquette defines good conduct among everyone and in turn translates to respecting others, the slope and yourself.
Observe the code listed below, and also do share with others the responsibility:

* Always stay IN CONTROL, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
* People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
* You must not stop in the middle of the slope and remove your skis or snowboard, unless instructed by an instructor or if you are injured.
* When on the flat portion of the slope, do remove your skis or snowboard and move to the sides as soon as possible.
* When starting to move downhill, look uphill or the sides and observe if anyone is also moving. If they are faster than you, yield to them.
* No usage of tubes during lessons or sessions unless permitted by an instructor / member of Snow City staff.
* If attempting features in the Chamber built by our very own Terrain Park Staff, please observe the following rules:
* In jumping and using this terrain, you assume the risk of serious injury.
* Be courteous and respect others at all times.
* Only one user on a Terrain feature at a time.
* Always clear the landing area as quickly as possible.
* Always ride or ski in control and within your ability.

Riding and Skiing Smart means riding and skiing safely and observing the Code above at all times!
